HELP RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE CASA® PROGRAM AND   

CHILD ABUSE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Friends of Wood County CASA Presents:

The Karen Swartz Memorial Walk for CASA

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AT THE FIRST KAREN SWARTZ MEMORIAL WALK FOR CASA.  THERE WERE OVER 185 COMMUNITY MEMBERS PRESENT ON A BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY MORNING TO ASSIST IN RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO EXPERIENCE ABUSE AND NEGLECT AND THE ADVOCACY SERVICES BY CASA/GAL VOLUNTEERS FOR THESE CHILDREN.

PLACE:  Woodlands Park 429 E. Boundary St. Perrysburg, OH (located at the corner of East Boundary and East Indiana Avenue/SR795)   Overflow parking will be available at Grace United Methodist Church

YOUR SUPPORT WAS WONDERFUL! 

The CASA®/GAL Program recruits, trains, guides and supports CASA®/GAL volunteers who represent the best interests of abused, neglected and dependent children in the Juvenile Court.

The Friends of Wood County CASA is a non-profit organization which lends support to the Wood County CASA®/GAL Program through fund raising, promoting public awareness and monitoring the fiscal needs of the organization.

Karen Swartz was a coach and athletic director prior to her making a 10 year contribution to the Wood County CASA®/GAL Program working as a Volunteer Coordinator mentoring volunteers and serving as an advocate for many abused and neglected children as a CASA®/GAL volunteer.
