The Cases

We recommend all volunteers start with one case at a time. With some experience, CASA volunteers may carry two cases. Cases can be a single youth or a sibling group, and can take between 5 to 10 hours of your time each month.

The Commitment

Cases can last 6 months to 2 years. Many volunteer responsibilities can be scheduled at your convenience, like home visits and report writing. While court hearings are always during business hours, as a friend of the court, CASA volunteers have a say in court dates.

The Program

All volunteers are supported by a dedicated staff person. The Wood County CASA team hosts multiple gatherings and other opportunities for our network to connect with each other. We pride ourselves on our team work!
